Marinated Cheese in Olive Oil with Spices

 

Yields: 8-10 servings
Preparation Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:
25 oz. Tnuva hard cheeses of different types in blocks (Kashkaval, Smoked Emek, Regular Emek, Feta, Bulgarian)
2 hot peppers
1 Tbs. black pepper granules
2 sprigs of rosemary
2 sprigs of Thyme or Marjoram
4 cloves of garlic
3 1/2 oz. dried black olives
Olive oil to cover bottom of a 1.5 quart jar
Olivia spreads: black olive, dried tomato, hot pepper

Instructions:
1. Cut the cheese into cubes and arrange them intermittently in a jar together with other ingredients and cover with olive oil.  Store in a cool place for 3 days.
2. Serve with a variety of breads and cheese pastries and Olivia Black Olive Spread, Dried Tomato Spread or Hot Pepper Spread.

Comment: In the summer time, you should store the jar in the refrigerator and take it out of the refrigerator about 2 hours before serving.
